8 november 2024 was level 2 and has 50 times seismic volcanic. but 7 november i was with group from germany i was there with tour leader agus has from makasar.

.i live in tomohon . in village called wailan and i am married. my wife from bitung. so sometime i am in bitung but many time i am in tomohon in my village under the foot lokon volcano.i decided become tour guide since 1989 in north sulawesi indonesia.i started from manado city and become general guide for special tourist wanted to go to bunaken and stayed there . i made deal with homestay in bunaken island called papa boas was the firsh accomodation accepted tourist and before at the time no electrys and used petromax lamp.and now cold beer. and given them idea to make cold beer.dig hole in the soil and put fiber sack and give esblok and then put beer . and worked very good and when tourist ask me about cold beer in bunaken i told them yes papa homestay have cold beer. i started from bunaken to give information about minahasa highland .especialy lokon volcano in tomohon in my village. so in this moment my special place forguiding is lokon volcano. but also i can guide tourist to explore the best of minahasa highland and the best of north sulawesi. in this moment i have my own company in tourism called jotje lala tours and travel and one of legal travevel agent here. www.jotjelalatours.com www.jotjelalatours.blogspot.com

June to october 2023 lokon volcano closed

from june to october 1,2 i dont guide hiker to this lokon volcano because alert 2 and 3 so goverment of tomohon city cloused this volcano for temporary .so 3 october 2023 i started guiding tourist this volcano.
